In CICOR we care about the security and privacy of our users and, therefore, we are committed to protecting them. Purpose of the Privacy Policy

The website www.cicor.es (hereinafter, the “Website”) is owned by the Company CICOR INTERNACIONAL CORREDURIA DE SEGUROS Y REASEGUROS S.L. (hereinafter, “CICOR”), a company established as such in accordance with Spanish law, registered in Independencia Street, number 2, 08225 Terrassa (Barcelona), with a VAT identification number of B-58570623, registered in the Mercantile Register Office of Barcelona in the Volume 29919, Folio 68, Page B 72037, 1st Registry and is also registered with an administrative authorization of the General Directorate of Insurance and Pensions under J-0338 and RJ-0072.

This Privacy Policy governs, alongside the Terms and Conditions and the Cookie Policy, the use of the website www.cicor.es (hereinafter the “Website”). This Privacy Policy is to govern how CICOR treats the personal data provided by the users of the Website (hereinafter, the “Users”).

By accessing the website www.cicor.es the internet user becomes a user of the Website, stating that they are of legal age and that they have the legal capacity to use the Website and fully understand and accept this Privacy Policy.

On the Website you will find this Privacy Policy in English at your disposal so that you will be able to check it, download it or print it at any time and whenever you want.

This Privacy Policy may change from time to time owing to modifications in the Website, legislation or jurisprudence or the establishment of new criteria by the Spanish Data Protection Agency. What we do in CICOR with your personal data?

By simply visiting the Website the User is not required to provide personal information nor is the User required to register. The personal data they may provide through the online contact form will be included in a database which is owned by CICOR and used exclusively to address and manage their requests for information or contact.

By submitting their information through any means (either by e-mail, telephone or through the online forms available on the Website), they guarantee to CICOR that the data provided match their true identity and that the data are up to date, truthful, accurate and complete at the time they are provided.

CICOR will not disclose any personal information provided by the Users through the Website to third parties, except where such disclosure is required by law, court order, or by a competent authority, as well as when we need to communicate essential data for logic reasons following any service requested or it being explicitly requested by the User previously obtaining the formal consent of the latter.

All data provided by the User via e-mail or through online forms available on the web www.cicor.es will be treated by CICOR according to the current legislation on protection of personal data and, in any case, will be confidential to the CICOR personnel managing such information.

Any direct or indirect loss or damage suffered by CICOR and/or third parties resulting from the User’s breach of the obligation to provide true, accurate, complete and up-to-date information will be the sole responsibility of the User.

ARCO rights of users

Users are entitled to access their information, rectify it were the data to be incorrect, and object to the processing of their data or cancel them. Specifically, according to the current law on protection of personal data, Users can exercise their rights of access, rectification, cancellation and objection (also known as ARCO rights) addressing CICOR INTERNACIONAL CORREDURIA DE SEGUROS Y REASEGUROS S.L.U. either by e-mail at derechos.arco@cicor.es or by mail addressed to C/. Independencia, number 2, 08225 Terrassa (Barcelona), in both cases enclosing a copy of their national identity card or passport and indicating “Ref. Data protection” as reference in the envelope (should they opt for mail) or subject (should they opt for email) and explaining clearly the right they wish to exercise and the necessary data for it.

How do we protect your data?

In CICOR we take your privacy seriously and carry out the recommended safety standards to protect the personal data of Users. However, we cannot absolutely guarantee their safety due to the fact that the Internet is not impregnable and there may be actions of third parties beyond our control. Consequently, under no circumstances shall CICOR be liable for damages caused to the Users by reasons not attributable to CICOR, such as, for instance, force majeure events, viruses, harmful components or third computer intrusions.

Although CICOR strives and puts all the means at its disposal to ensure the safety of your data, CICOR cannot absolutely guarantee technical security as Internet is not impregnable and there may be misconducts by third parties outside the scope and control of CICOR.

Commercial communications

CICOR does not use spamming techniques and will only process the data Users provide us in order to send them commercial communications after previously obtaining their consent in this regard, all in accordance with the provisions of the current legislation on Information Society Services and E-Commerce.

To this end CICOR, at the time of data collection, will ask for their consent to receive information, advertising, commercial communications electronically about products or services related to CICOR’s activity, initiatives, etc. At the time of data collection, the User may indicate a desire or an objection to receive commercial communications. They will also be able to be excluded from this service following the instructions at the bottom of the body of each one of the electronic communications.

The processing of personal data, as well as sending commercial communications electronically, are in accordance with current regulations regarding the protection of personal data and Information Society Services and E-Commerce.
